    Aggie Students Ready for Next Week's Blood Battle

    Utah State University’s 12th year of involvement in what is called the “Blood Battle” begins with the first full week of school, August 31. It is an effort to encourage USU students and faculty to learn the importance of helping to save lives by becoming blood donors. ... Blood Bath donation stations will be available at the Sunburst Lounge of USU's Taggart Student Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Aug. 31 to Sept. 4. ... Houk said the Aggies will compete against Utah’s other colleges, except the U of U, and USU has built a track record of being the school that goes above and beyond when it comes to student blood donations.
