Pres. Mortensen Announces Strategic Plan Launch Event
Editor's note: This message from Utah State University President Brad L. Mortensen was sent to all students, faculty, and staff Wednesday morning.
Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,
Shortly after coming back to Utah State and following our first university-wide survey, I shared our four strategic pillars: statewide impact, student success, discovery with purpose, and civic-mindedness in all we do.
In the months since, many of you shared your perspectives through additional surveys and conversations across the state, and over the last few weeks, teams from across the university have built upon that feedback to further develop our plan.
On Friday, Oct. 16, I'm excited to show you the detailed efforts of those design teams and provide you with an opportunity for feedback.
Strategic Plan Launch Event
Friday, Oct. 16 | 9:30-11:30 a.m. | Quad on the Logan campus
- 9:30-10:15 a.m.: I'll provide an overview of the plan, and the executive sponsors of each pillar will share what their teams have been working on.
- Join us in person or register in advance to join by Zoom
- 10:15-11:30 a.m.: Visit booths around the quad related to each pillar to ask questions, learn more, and share ideas.
Snacks will be provided. I hope you'll stop by, whether you can stay for the full event or stop by for just a few minutes between classes and meetings. I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
