Utah State University Extension is inviting farmers, ranchers and cattle industry professionals to attend upcoming Utah Beef Field Days. The events are designed to provide insights, hands-on experience, and networking opportunities to help improve productivity and profitability in beef operations.
Utah Beef Field Days take place in two locations:
- Logan: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 18. Lunch provided.
- Richfield: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 19 and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 20. Dinner and lunch provided.
The field days will include expert-led discussions, interactive demonstrations and a trade show featuring products and services from top-industry vendors. The event will provide a platform to explore the latest tools and technologies while connecting with fellow cattle producers.
Session topics include drones, virtual fencing, ranching market outlook, ranch cost benchmarking and more. Participants are encouraged to bring their laptops or tablets to engage more fully with the presentations. The Richfield event includes a tour of the Utah Beef Producers facilities.
“Utah Beef Field Days provide a great opportunity to learn from experts, connect with peers, and discover practical solutions to challenges facing the industry today,” said David Secrist, USU Extension beef cattle specialist.
Registration is $15 per person. Click here to register for the Logan event and click here to register for the Richfield event.
