SENIOR NIGHT / PARENTS NIGHT

SENIOR NIGHT ON TAP — Seniors Lyndsie Boone and Jackie Dillon will be competing in their final home meet of their Utah State [University] careers when USU (1-12, 0-4 WAC) gymnastics hosts Cal State Fullerton (0-5, 0-3 WAC) Friday, March 4, on the Aggies' Senior Night, honoring its two seniors. The Western Athletic Conference duel starts at 7 p.m. (MT) at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum (10,270). In addition to Friday being Senior Night, it is also Parents Night, as the Aggie parents will be introduced prior to the meet.

SENIOR DUOLyndsie Boone and Jackie Dillon are USU's two seniors who will be recognized in a post-meet ceremony. Boone is a three-time NCAA Regional qualifier, qualifying in the all-around in 2009 and 2010 after competing on beam in 2008. Dillon is a two-time NCAA Regional participant, qualifying on vault in 2009 and bars in 2010.

LIVE VIDEO — Fans can watch the meet on Friday, live online by clicking on the "Watch Live" link at www.UtahStateAggies.com, the official website of USU athletics. Fans will have to register and pay a small fee to watch.

IN THE RANKINGS — Utah State is No. 45 in the Troester/GymInfo Women's Gymnastics National Rankings, which starting going by Regional Qualifying Scores (RQS) last week. USU has an RQS of 192.265. Cal State Fullerton does not have an RQS, as it needs to have three road meets to qualify, and Friday is only CSF's second road meet of the season. The Titans have a season-average of 188.005 as well as a season-high of 189.175.

UP NEXT — Utah State concludes regular-season action on Saturday, March 12, in a tri-meet at Southern Utah along with Iowa. Action at SUU's Centrum starts at 2 p.m. (MT). The tri-meet will have special meaning for USU head coach Jeff Richards, as he was an assistant at both SUU and Iowa, coaching at Southern Utah from 1991-98, earning his degree from SUU in 1995, and was an assistant coach at Iowa from 2005-2008, before coming to Utah State.
