Kadin Halona grew up with a fascination around motorsports and ATVs, so it may be safe to say his younger self would be proud of his accomplishments so far.
Of those achievements, this summer he took on an internship with Klim, a prominent motorsports clothing and safety equipment company, where he was tasked with a somewhat monumental task. The USU undergrad was tasked with cataloging every material — its cost, where it comes from, its material and color, among other things — for 40 different products.
While that may not seem like a lot, within those 40 products, each individual one could be made up of hundreds of different materials, parts, and pieces.
Prepped with his training from the USU Outdoor Products Design & Development program, Halona was able to successfully tackle the task and set up a system that Klim can use for years to come.
