The team also serves as the primary resource for media, including coordination of subject-matter experts, photography, b-roll, facilities access, and information during an emergency or crisis.

Media Relations
The strategic communications team serves as the primary resource for the media, including for coordination of subject-matter experts, photography recourses, B-roll, and facilities access, as well as for information during an emergency or crisis.
Emergency Communications
USU sends important information about crimes on campus, threats to safety, and emergencies through. All alerts are sent through USU's campus alert system, which includes text to cell phones, and email. Those who are not members of the university community may sign up for text alerts.
