Event Description

Before humans knew they existed, tiny microbes were hard at work in helpful and sometimes not-so-helpful ways. “Microscopic organisms have influenced major historical events,” says Utah State University biologist Bonnie Waring. “They also influence the health of our environment and even processes occurring within our own bodies.” Waring, assistant professor in the Department of Biology and the USU Ecology Center, presents “Microscopic,” for USU’s Science Unwrapped program, Friday, Jan. 25, 2019.
