2019 Annual Report
The Western Rural Development Center's 2019 Annual Report includes highlights from the year along with a message from Executive Director Don E. Albrecht.
From the Executive Director: "I grew up on a small farm in a small town in the middle of nowhere. It was a great place to grow up. The amenities were fabulous. Just a few minutes from my home in one direction were majestic mountains where we camped, hiked, hunted, and fished. A few miles the other way were the sheer red rock cliffs of Capitol Reef National Park. Socially, my hometown was also a great place to live. I knew every single person in town. The fear of crime was totally absent. My home did not have a lock on the front door. The keys to our vehicles were kept in the ignition.
