Regional Spotlights

In 2022, the Western Rural Development Center celebrated the 50th anniversary of the passage of the Rural Development Act. Among its many outcomes, the Act led to the creation of the nation’s four Regional Rural Development Centers (RRDCs) that includes the WRDC, and which have since played a critical role in elevating Rural America through research, education, Extension.

The Western Rural Development Center (WRDC) is excited to continue this celebration by spotlighting a few of our collaborators from across the region. Only through support and collaboration is the WRDC able to address opportunities for rural areas.
