Welcome to the
George Nelson Fieldhouse
The Fieldhouse is an athletic building shared by Campus Recreation, Athletics, and Academics. Built early on in Utah State University's History, it was home to the USU Basketball team until the Dee Glenn Smith Spectrum was build in 1970. With a flooring change and a few remodels, the Fieldhouse now houses several spaces designed for student enjoyment and fitness. These include a Student Weight & Fitness Center, basketball courts, a billiards hall, and specialized rooms for programs such as Spinning and Crossfit. Faculty/Staff may purchase a pass for $50 per semester to use the Student Fitness Center. Click on a link to the right to learn more.
