Home of the Utah State University Swim and Dive Club

The USU Swim and Dive Club provides a structured and fun-filled venue for Utah State students to swim competitively against other collegiate clubs nationwide. Our program is registered by CS. On the team, you will find swimmers competing at the state, regional, and national level, as well as those who simply want to stay in shape or get back into swimming. Whatever your swimming goals are, we invite you to reach them with the USU Swim and Dive Club.

Dues & Teams: We have two team options to fit the time availability and budget of most swimmers.

White Team

The White Team is the primary competitive team. It is the best option for swimmers who can practice 3-5 times per week and attend meets.

  • No qualifiying times of tryouts
  • Dues: $150 per semester
  • Included:
    • Pool time
    • 5 Structured workouts per week
    • T-Shirt, Swim Cap
    • Leadership opportunities
  • Meet Requirement: At least two per semester 
  • USMS Membership not included

Blue Team

The Blue Team is the best option for swimmers who are shorter on time and less interested in competing, but still want the social and fitness benefits of swimming.

  • No qualifying times or tryouts
  • Dues: $40 per semester
  • Included:
    • Pool time
    • Structured workouts
    • T-Shirt, Swim Cap
  • Meet Requirement: None

• Practice Location And Time: We practice 5 times a week, Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 3-5pm in the HPER Large Pool, and Tuesday/Thursday from 3-5pm in the HPER Small Pool.

    Neal serves as the Assistant Director of the Center for Innovative Design and Instruction at Utah State University. He graduated from USU with his master’s degree in 2006. He began swimming competitively when he was 10 years old and continues to swim, along with running, biking, and skiing when he can. He recently qualified for USMS Nationals in the 1650 free and the 500 free. He has also completed a full Ironman triathlon, the Lotoja bike race, the Bear Lake Monster Swim, the Deer Creek Reservoir 10K swim, and several other running marathons, 10Ks, triathlons, duathlons, and ultramarathons. He met his wife through swimming and they have four children, two of whom swim competitively as well.

Jayden Howell 

Jayden Howell has been swimming competitively since he was 5 years old and has been the USU club team president for the past three years. He is from Riverton, UT and is majoring in Management Information Systems. He specializes in butterfly and distance events.
