Nomination Criteria

Do you know a Classified employee who does great work and makes your job easier? Nominate them for a CEA award and recognize them for the great work they do! Click here for a nomination form and instructions or call Idena Ward at 797-8144 to receive more information.

  • Nominees must have been employed at Utah State University in a full-time contract position for a minimum of five years and must be a current full-time classified employee.
  • Nominations may be made by faculty, staff, or students.
  • The Classified Employee of the Quarter Award is given to 4 outstanding classified employees each year.
  • Nominees should excel in the following areas:
    • Productivity and Quality of Work
    • Dependability and Reliability
    • Knowledge and Expertise
    • Other contributions that make this individual an outstanding employee, such as creativity, innovation, ability to relate to and get along with others, service to USU students, faculty, and staff.
  • Nominations may be made on the attached nomination form and sent along with any additional letters of appreciation submitted by workmates, students, or supervisors to:
