ASUSU Legislation

ASUSU legislation is organized by council, type, and year. There are 3 councils: Academic Senate (AS), Executive Council (EC), and Graduate Student Senate (GSS). Each council writes bills and resolutions. Any action that the ASUSU has direct jurisdiction over is titled a bill. Any legislation that requires the approval of the University President, Board of Trustees or Board of Regents is titled a resolution.

The Document ID# allows for easy organization and recognition for each bill. For example, ECB 2012-01 is an Executive Council Bill written in 2012. Legislation prior to 2012 shortens the year format-- for example ASR 11-01.

This website was created by students of Utah State University to promote understanding of the activity within ASUSU Student Government. This site is updated by the ASUSU Administrative Assistant.
