Welcome to Public Relations and Marketing
Welcome to Public Relations & Marketing at Utah State University. We value and support the university's colleges, divisions, administrative offices, and auxiliary services. The PR and Marketing office is committed to working closely with all university entities in their marketing and communication needs.
As the lead communication office for the university, its responsibilities include production of university-wide marketing materials, assisting in the creation of communication strategies and tactics, and coordinating and overseeing all internal and external communications. The intent is to provide guidance and direction from concept to creation and to ensure that all marketing and promotional communications favorably and accurately reflect Utah State University's high standard of academic quality.
In its oversight role, Public Relations & Marketing is responsible for final review and sign-off of marketing and promotional materials produced by all academic, administrative, and athletic divisions within the university. Please provide a print or electronic sample to Public Relations & Marketing prior to production of any promotional and marketing pieces. E-mail samples to: PR@usu.edu or fax them to: 797-1250. By working through the Public Relations & Marketing office, the university will better ensure consistency, quality, and cost-efficiency in all university communication and marketing endeavors. Requests are promptly handled.
Communication materials from administrators, faculty, staff, students, and student organizations include:
- advertisements (newspapers, magazines, television, radio, Web, billboards, transit advertising)
- promotional and specialty items
- university-wide publications
- clothing and merchandise
