SOAR Options and Dates


Online SOAR

SOAR Online is available to you if you live or work more than 400 miles* from Utah State. If you select SOAR Online, the link will be sent to the e-mail account you specify as you sign up for SOAR. You will also be sent a packet in the mail that will include the following:

  • General Catalog
  • Student Handbook/Planner
  • SOAR Online link
  • voucher for your student ID card ($15 value…don't lose this)
  • other helpful information

Spring SOAR Students: Once you register for SOAR Online, the link and the packet of information will be sent to you in early November.

Summer SOAR Students: Once you register for SOAR Online, the link and the packet of information will be sent to you in late March.

Fall SOAR Students: Once you register for SOAR Online, the link and the packet of information will be sent to you in mid-May.

The online orientation provides a checklist of items you need to accomplish before coming to Utah State. You will e-mail your academic advisor as you complete SOAR Online, and he or she will write back to you and tell you what classes to take.

Cost: $40. This includes your student I.D. card, the SOAR informational materials, and the postage to mail them. The SOAR fee will be taken out of your $100 University Deposit. The rest of the deposit will be credited to your student account and will go toward your tuition and/or fees.
