John C. Allen Global Leadership Scholarship

For the John C. Allen Global Leadership Scholarship, our plan is to quickly build the endowment to full funding at $25,000 with the intent to fund a $1,000 scholarship annually, in perpetuity, beginning with a Fall 2018 award. Following are the parameters for the award. 

• CHaSS student
• Undergrad with minimum 60 credit hours
• Minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA
• Preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need
• Student essay prompt (500 words): Articulate your vision for how your education and your leadership will effect positive influence throughout your career in an increasingly global community.
• Preference for a student from a rural  background.
