Barbara Stuart
1928 - 2025

Barbara Fern Stuart, 96 passed away on March 28, 2025. She was born on July 15, 1928, in West Weber, Utah to Leonard E. and Adelia Tracy Blanch.

Barbara's early years were spent on her family's farm in West Weber, Utah. She attended the West Weber School and graduated from Weber High School in 1946. After graduation she furthered her education at Weber College.

Barbara married Thomas J. Stuart on November 28, 1953. They made their home in Ogden and are the parents of 5 children: Bonnie, Kathy, Mike, Darin, and Mary. They remained in Ogden until they moved to their home in Roy in 1969.

She worked for Utah Probation and Parole, Utah General Depot, and Mervyn's; but her main occupation was one that has no rest or vacations, she was a mother. She was the mother every child deserves.

She was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served whenever she was asked.

Barbara is survived by her children, Bonnie, Kathy, Michael, and Darin; her grandchildren Dylan Erickson, Jocelyn Stuart, and Wyatt Stuart; her brother Larry Blanch; and her sisters Donene Briscoe and Marilyn Royce. 

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Mary, and her brothers Harold Blanch, Vern Blanch, Dwayne Blanch, and Claude Blanch.
