Dr. Allen was deeply involved in the Uintah Basin community and touched countless lives as a beloved physician at Ashley Regional Medical Center. His time, talents, and energy were devoted to each patient, and his charitable spirit benefited numerous community organizations and endeavors, such as the Vernal Area Chamber of Commerce, Vernal Rotary, Rural Education Committee, Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo, and many others.

Dr. Allen was a loving husband, a father, a doctor, and a true cowboy. He was a tireless advocate for the Uintah Basin community and was instrumental in the evolution of the Ashley Regional Medical Center. Dr. Allen was a true believer in the power of education and worked diligently to bring and enhance educational opportunities for all students in the Uintah Basin.

The Dr. James Allen Memorial Scholarship Endowment is intended to encourage the next generation of Uintah Basin residents to pursue nursing careers.

By contributing to this scholarship, you help memorialize Dr. James Allen and provide much needed financial support to our dedicated nursing students.
