June 16, 1929 - March 9, 2017 Logan - Leah Dunford Parkinson Christensen, 87, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Thursday evening, March 9, 2017.

At the time of her retirement from USU in 1987, Leah Christensen was an Assistant Director of Academic Support Services. Her long and distinguished career of service at USU included servicing as former Dean of Women, President and member of the USU alumni Council, and a member of the USU Institutional Council. She was involved with many student organizations. Mrs. Christensen was instrumental in helping to establish the Women’s Center for Lifelong Learning and served as a member of their Advisory Board for many years.
