Gramoll Construction

Founded by Robert Gramoll and Harry Clyde in North Salt Lake in 1962, Gramoll Construction engages in a wide range of projects including higher education, laboratories and medical facilities; and in both new construction and renovations.
Gramoll Construction built the Distance Education Building at Utah State University from April 2011 to August 2012. The Distance Education Building is a four-story building that features office space and state-of-the-art classrooms filled with interactive video conferencing, broadcast equipment and digital technology.

Len Bosack and wife Sandy Lerner, both working for Stanford University, wanted to email each other from their respective offices, but technological shortcoming did not allow such community. A technology had to be invented to deal with disparate local area protocols, and as a result of solving their challenge, the multi-protocol router was born.
Founded in 1984, Cisco Systems designs and sells consumer electronics, networking and communications technology, and services.
