Whitney Boudrero Appointed as Senior Director for USU Alumni Engagement

Utah State University Advancement has named Whitney Boudrero as the senior director for Alumni Engagement. Boudrero, a graduate of USU with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and corporate communications in 2011, brings extensive experience in leadership and community engagement.
With more than 18 years of experience across various sectors, Boudrero has held leadership and engagement roles as a development officer at Utah State University, chief of staff at Inspire Law Group, and grant writer at Fast Forward High School. Her professional background demonstrates a commitment to aligning organizational goals with community and stakeholder needs through strategic planning and relationship management.
Boudrero’s dedication to professional growth is evident in her continued education and certifications in advanced relationship management and leadership. Her role on Bridgerland Technical College’s Fashion Merchandising and Development Board highlights her expertise in strategic oversight and her efforts to enhance educational opportunities for students.
In her new role, Boudrero aims to strengthen the connection between alumni and the university. She is focused on building systems that provide accountability and support, enabling meaningful alumni engagement with USU.
“I firmly believe that Whitney’s appointment will elevate USU through philanthropy and engagement,” said USU Vice President for Advancement and Foundation Board President Matt White. “Her leadership and commitment to fostering personal and professional growth will help deepen the alumni community’s connection to the university.”
Boudrero expressed her enthusiasm for her new position.
“I am deeply honored to step into this role at Utah State University,” she said. “I look forward to working with our alumni, fostering connections, and supporting their journey, much like USU has supported mine.”
Born in Logan, Utah, and raised in a military family with deep roots in the United States Air Force, Boudrero has both personal and professional ties to the USU community. She is married to Joshua Boudrero and is a proud mother of two daughters, Blakely and Marley.
