Engineering an Impact

Engineering an Impact

Giving back comes naturally to the Andersons. Both Richard and his wife Moonyeen attended USU, where Richard earned his undergraduate degree before moving on to a productive engineering career at Hewlett-Packard. "I have never known anything else than to be a part of the Aggie family," Richard said. "We bleed blue."

The pair always wanted to help others as they’ve been helped. Richard credits Utah State University with giving him the tools he needed for his career — not to mention a life-changing introduction to Moonyeen at a University dance. Through the Richard & Moonyeen Anderson Engineer Athletes Endowment, the Andersons have elected to support USU engineering student-athletes for years to come. "Our hope is that future students are able to feel the values that come from education," Richard said. "Giving back perpetuates a cycle of philanthropy, and we find great joy and pride in continuing that cycle."
