Utah State University Honorary Aggie

Wendy Suite is an Emmy Award-winning writer and television producer who has built a remarkable career while raising her family in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. She and her late husband, Howard, shared the joy of watching their son, Brian, excel as both a student and athlete at Utah State University. Brian Suite graduated from the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business and was a key part of the Winningest Senior Class in Aggie football history. Between 2012 and 2014, Brian helped lead the Aggies to 30 victories, including three bowl championships, before signing with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2015.

In 2019 and 2020, Wendy faced heartbreaking loss with the passing of both Howard and Brian to cancer. Yet in the midst of grief, she has chosen to keep their Aggie legacy alive. Through her vision and dedication, Wendy and her family established the Brian Suite Aggie Athlete Scholarship Fund at Utah State University and continue to host an annual golf tournament in Hawaiʻi to ensure student-athletes can follow in Brian’s footsteps.

Utah State University is proud to honor Wendy Suite with the Honorary Aggie Award. Though she herself never attended USU, her strength, loyalty, and unshakable devotion to the Aggie family reflect the very heart of what it means to be an Aggie.

With this recognition, we affirm that Wendy will always belong to this community. She is, and forever will be, an Aggie.
