Jeff Lambson is an award-winning curator, the recipient of the Salt Lake City Mayor’s Award for Service in the Arts and the CUAC Visionary Award. He was named by Salt Lake Magazine as one of Utah’s most significant people of the past 20 years and was selected as one of Westword's 100 Colorado Creatives. He began his career at the Smithsonian Institution's Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, DC, the nation's museum of modern and contemporary art. He was founding curator of contemporary art at the BYU Museum of Art, and prior to joining NEHMA was director of the Emmanuel Art Gallery and Experience Gallery at the University of Colorado, Denver. His work in the arts has received national and international recognition from W magazine, Hyperallergic, Art Ltd, Artforum, PBS, Sunset Magazine, Denver Post, Arts Asia Pacific, Forbes, and BBC’s television program The Culture Show. Jeff is married to Ann Lambson, a museum educator and entrepreneur, and they live in Cache Valley with their corgi and tuxedo cat.
