Katie Lee-Koven is the Executive Director and Chief Curator of the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art (NEHMA) at Utah State University. Over the past decade, she has significantly expanded the museum’s permanent collection and successfully led two capital campaigns—transforming NEHMA’s physical footprint and establishing the new Wanlass Center for Art and Education. Lee-Koven holds degrees from the College of Charleston and Richmond, The American International University in London. With more than twenty years of experience across professional gallery and academic environments, she brings deep expertise in fine art, craft, and commercial gallery practice. Prior to her leadership at NEHMA, she served as Director of the Shaw Gallery at Weber State University, Assistant Director of The Center for Craft, and Assistant Director and Curator of the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art at the College of Charleston. An active leader in the museum field, Lee-Koven serves on the board of the Association of Academic Museums and Galleries and has participated multiple times as an accreditation reviewer for the American Alliance of Museums. She is also engaged in civic service as a current member of the Logan City Council.
