The NEHMA Dock Sessions Concert featuring Hatchback

Help us kick off the semester at the Nora Eccles Harrison Museum of Art with an unforgettable night of live music, free treats, and good vibes! The museum is launching its very first concert in The NEHMA Dock Sessions series with live music by Hatchback. It’s all going down Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. at the NEHMA loading dock. Bring your friends, grab a treat, and kick back with some great music at USU’s very own art museum. See you there!

Exploding Native Inevitable Gallery Talk and Opening Reception

Join us at NEHMA to celebrate the opening of Exploding Native Inevitable. Explore the exhibition, enjoy refreshments, and experience the unique opportunity to hear from co-curators of the exhibition, Dan Mills and Brad Kahlhamer. Dan Mills: Dan Mills recently retired as Director and Chief Curator of the Bates College Museum of Art where he has overseen dozens of exhibitions, encompassing multiple mediums and groupings of artists, including contemporary works by artistis from Suadi Arabia as well as Native American and Black artisits. Brad Kahlhamer: Born to Native parents and adopted by a German-American family, Brad spent his early adulthood as a musician living on the road before settling in New York City in the early 1980s. Now, he divides his time between New York and Mesa, Arizona, and travels where he is working, exhibiting, performing, or "yondering", as he describes it.
