The Center for Anticipatory Intelligence is proud to co-lead the Intermountain Intelligence, Industry, and Security Consortium (I3SC) in partnership with our colleagues at the UVU Center for National Security Studies and nine Utah industry partners. I3SC facilitates a workforce development pipeline that prepares participating USU and UVU students across a wide range of disciplines to advance innovation and help secure Utah's emerging technology sector. With funding from the Utah State Legislature's Deep Technology Talent Initiative (DTTI), USU and UVU work in partnership to deliver complementary, interlocking, and stackable academic programs in anticipatory intelligence, security analytics, cybersecurity and secure computing, artificial intelligence, and security studies. CAI and CNSS deliver the goals of the I3SC collaboration through four key avenues:

Four key blocks of the I3SC collaboration

I3SC Industry Partners

I3SC joins together CAI, CNSS, and other participating programs at USU and UVU with a standout base of industry support from nine industry partners in Utah: Adobe, AgilePQ, Northrop Grumman, MITRE, Mandiant, Strider, Fortem Technologies, Campbell Scientific, and Space Dynamics Laboratory. Industry partners engage in I3SC by supporting academic curriculum development in annual symposia, contributing to the I3SC Speaker Series, sending industry professionals to guest lecture in courses, and facilitating student internships, externships, capstone projects, and applied research.
