Aggie RecFest

Get acquainted with what Campus Recreation has to offer with our semester kickoff event, RecFest! Join us for a night of recreation, giveaways, inflatables, a photobooth, and more. Starting at 7pm, we open our doors to anyone and everyone. Come talk with club sport teams, play games, meet new friends, and possibly go home with some pretty cool prizes!
Intramural Registration Opens
Recreation
Grab your Intramural membership online and head over to the Fusion Play App to register for the first season of fall Intramurals. We'll be offering flag football, sand volleyball, outdoor soccer, and ultimate frisbee. An IM membership is $30 for a semester pass or $15 for a single-sport pass. Games start on September 14th for sand volleyball, September 21st for flag football and outdoor soccer, and September 28th for ultimate frisbee.
Welcome Week Tasty Tuesday

Come grab a tasty, healthy snack from Campus Recreation's nutrition department at the Aggie Recreation Center. Grab the snack and the recipe and head about your day or your workout. We'll be handing out samples starting at 3pm until they run out.
Welcome Week Yoga on the Aggie Legacy Fields

Join Campus Recreation during our Welcome Week events for a relaxing free yoga class out on the Aggie Legacy Fields from 7- 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1. We provide yoga mats and any equipment, simply show up! You can register beforehand for free at recportal.usu.edu.
Welcome Week Battleship at the Pool

Grab your team and jump into your canoe to face off in our popular Battleship event at the HPER Pools. There is no pre-registration, simply show up and get ready to get wet! The event runs from 7:30-9:30pm and is completely free as part of Campus Recreation's Welcome Week events.
Esports Open House

The Esports program has moved and we're hosting an open house to celebrate during Campus Recreation's Welcome Week events! Pop by the first-floor computer lab in the TSC to visit the new space, play a game or two, and connect with other students. The event will run from 6-8pm and is free to all students.
Welcome Week Intro to Climbing Class

Want to learn the basics of climbing but don't know where to start? We've got you covered! Join us from 6-8pm for our free intro to climbing clinic at the ARC. No prior experience needed. If you need climbing shoes, they are available to rent for a small price.
Welcome Week Wind Caves Hike

Join us for a hike up to the famous Wind Caves in Logan Canyon. We will meet at the OP and drive up Logan Canyon to the Wind Caves' delicate arches and formations. Trip Cost includes transportation and student leadership.

Join us for an afternoon of Rock Climbing at the Fucoidal Quartzite crag within Logan Canyon. The crag’s distinctive quartzite rock is textured and solid, featuring black and white rippling patterns that create unique holds. As you climb, views open up of Logan Canyon’s steep walls, forested slopes, and the winding canyon below. This trip is perfect for beginners looking to climb outside on top rope.

Welcome Week Cardio Fuse

Get your body moving with our upbeat, dance/kick-boxing style class, Cardio Fuse, during Campus Recreation's Welcome Week events. The class will be held in the MAC Gym in the ARC and is open to everyone. Class is free, registration isn't required but encouraged. You can do so at recportal.usu.edu.
Snake River Rafting

We are heading up to the Snake River near Jackson Wyoming for a weekend of rafting and camping. We will spend Saturday night around the fire and raft the thrilling rapids of the Alpine section of the Snake River. Participants must be able to swim. Trip cost includes food, transportation, permit fees, rafting equipment, tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad and student leadership.
Welcome Week Color Run
Recreation
As part of our Welcome Week events, we're hosting our 3rd annual Color Run to cap everything off! This will once again be a 2-mile fun run starting at the ARC and ending on the Quad. The event is open to anyone but will cap at 200 spots. The race is $10 for students, $15 for faculty/staff, and $20 for community members. Registration includes attendance and a Color Run T-shirt and opens on August 15th.

New to mountain biking? Want to learn riding techniques and improve your skills? Come hit the trail with us as we spend a few hours riding a beginner-friendly trail while working on body position, bike function and other fundamental mountain biking techniques. Trip cost includes a bike rental (pending availability), transportation and student leadership.

Join us Saturday morning for our Intramural kickball tournament. Games start at 10am, running until we crown a winner. Registration will open in the Fusion Play App from September 1st until October 3rd. Free with an IM semester pass or $15 for single sport pass.

Cottonwood and willow line the riverbanks, adding flashes of green against the desert backdrop, while reflections of the canyon walls ripple across the still water. The quiet, slow-moving river creates a sense of timelessness, offering wide-open skies by day and brilliant stars once night falls.
