The American Red Cross will be here all week for the 23rd annual Blood Battle when USU and Weber State go to head-to-head in gathering the most blood donations. Help USU retain the Blood Battle trophy by helping to fulfill our goal of donating 375 units in 4 days--remember that one unit of blood can save up to three lives! Can't donate? No problem! You can still help by volunteering at the check-in desk to greet donors and help to set them up for a comfortable donation with Red Cross professionals. Sign up for a shift or two, and bring a friend!

Welcome Week Color Run
Recreation
As part of our Welcome Week events, we're hosting our 3rd annual Color Run to cap everything off! This will once again be a 2-mile fun run starting at the ARC and ending on the Quad. The event is open to anyone but will cap at 200 spots. The race is $10 for students, $15 for faculty/staff, and $20 for community members. Registration includes attendance and a Color Run T-shirt and opens on August 15th.
Back-to-School Bop
Student Activities
Celebrate a brand-new semester with the first dance presented by the USUSA Big Band Swing Dance Club! Come to the historic Elite Hall in Hyrum, Utah for vintage swing dancing! All skill levels welcome, instruction will be provided and people are available to help with a wide range of skill levels! There will be: - a Live Jazz Band - refreshments - a historic venue with a spring-loaded dance floor - and plenty of great vibes! Club personnel are willing to help throughout the whole event and provide individual instruction as best they can. There will also be a formal lesson taught from 7-7:30pm, after which the band will start playing and the dance floor will be open!
STEM Career Fair
Fair/Festival
The USU STEM Career Fair is open to all majors but is targeted towards Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics majors. This event is a great opportunity for both local and national companies to recruit our amazing USU students and alumni for open roles. Industries represented include: Engineering, Healthcare, Construction, Environmental, Technology, Energy, Landscape Architecture, Consulting and Government.

Come celebrate with us! Kick off the evening with a welcoming pre‑event from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. featuring a photo display by Professor JP Spicer‑Escalante, Nuestros Vecinos, and a colorful flag display showcasing the diversity of Latin America. Then join us for the main celebration with a lively flag parade, cultural performances, and a special appearance by Ballet Folklórico de Efraín Villalobos. Keep the energy going with Zumba and end the night with a fun community dance. Everyone is welcome!

Come one, come all to enjoy a fall-themed dance with vintage swing dancing and a live jazz band! Come to enjoy the music, the atmosphere, or the historic Elite Hall venue! Dance instruction is available for beginners up to those with moderate experience, and while the formal lesson will be from 7-7:30pm, club personnel will be available the entire event to answer questions or help you out as best they can individually.
