USU Combat Robotics Back-to-School Bot Bash
Special Event
It's time to go back to school, and we're starting it off with a bonafide ROBOT RIOT! USU is hosting its second Back-to-School Bash, where builders from our club and the local community gather to start the school season off with a BANG! This event will be held in the front atrium of USU's Engineering building (ENGR), with pits in ENGR 101. Entry is FREE for both competitors and spectators. GAS Team Workshops
Workshop/Training
New GAS team members must attend at least one workshop to learn more about the different sub-teams of our club. Here, you'll be able to meet with current members of each sub-team to get an idea of what they do. You are not required to attend the whole duration, as it will mostly be a free-form event.

Come learn how to use our new 3D scanner! Learn what is possible in 3D scanning technology as well as industry techniques for the reverse engineering processes.

Maker Space Workshop – Intro to CNC Plasma Cutting
Workshop/Training
Come learn how to operate a CNC Plasma Cutter! This workshop is designed to introduce you to the basics of CNC plasma cutting and will cover the following topics: preparing a file for CNC plasma cutting, programming suitable tool paths, setting up the workpiece correctly, and operating a CNC plasma cutter.
