Expo Prep Workshop

The Pre-Career Expo Prep event is an interactive workshop designed to help students make the most of the upcoming Career Expo and Meet the Firms. This event is a valuable opportunity to build confidence and prepare to connect with employers in a professional setting.
During the workshop, students will gain practical strategies to stand out at the Expo, including:
• How to create and deliver a strong elevator pitch that highlights your skills and goals.
• Tips for professional communication, resumes, and making a positive first impression.
• Guidance on networking effectively with recruiters and alumni.
• Researching companies and strategies to maximize opportunities.
ASC Five Slide Friday

Join us every other week for Five-Slide Fridays! These events are casual lunchtime meetups (bring your own lunch!) where faculty and students share short talks about their research, projects, career paths, or favorite data tools. While some people use more than five slides, we promise to keep it informal and fun!
