Lisa Reeder

I truly enjoy teaching and learning about child development. I live in Hyde Park and have a magnificent husband and four fantastic children. I graduated from Utah State with a BS in secondary education. I find early childhood so fascinating that I have spent my time here instead of with the big kids. I operated a family childcare from 2001-2019.
After I closed my childcare, I came to Child Care Resource Agency fulltime, which has been thoroughly enjoyable. But, I do miss quiet time. I avidly like to travel. I love reading. I enjoy camping in the wilderness, but with a camp trailer so it is not too rough.

I grew up in Moab, Utah, and have lived in Cache Valley for ten years. I have a Master’s degree in Family, Consumer, and Human Development with an emphasis in Early Childhood Development.  I love teaching online and doing Child Care Resource Agency classes. Our little family loves to be outside, gardening, cutting flowers and visiting family. In the colder months we love watching hockey, baking, and hand-dipping chocolates.

I'm Jessica McEwan. My little family and I live in Perry, UT. I have a husband and two adorable daughters. I have been a lead teacher at a childcare center for four years and have a career in ABA therapy working with children who have disabilities. Aside from working with children, my other passions include art, music, and learning. I work in animal rescue as a volunteer foster for cats and kitten. My home is always full of adorable critters. I am enthusiastic about caring for both animals and children. I have been enjoying learning about different topics such as special needs children, trauma and its effects, social-emotional skills, mental-emotional wellbeing, and minfulness and self-care.

I am the proud parent of four amazing children who bring joy and inspiration to my life every day. With over 20 years of experience working with children, I have the privilege of running a licensed family childcare program in Box Elder County - a role that fills my days with laughter, learning, and boundless fulfillment. Becoming an instructor is an incredible opportunity that I am absolutely thrilled about! Outside of work, I love exploring new places, diving into a great book, and dreaming of the day a fairy godmother will swoop in to sanitize all the toys.
