Mandatory Training & Education

HB 261 requires institutions to publish a list of titles and syllabi for all mandatory courses, seminars, classes, workshops, and trainings. USHE’s implementation guidance defines a mandatory academic course as one that is “required for graduation, including general educator or major requirements, and for which there is no other course that meets the requirement.” This excludes those courses required to comply with academic accreditation or athletic requirements.
