College of Arts & Sciences

About This Certificate

The Utah State University (USU) Anthropology program offers multiple pathways of post-graduate instruction in archaeology.

Our post-graduate degrees cater to students with diverse circumstances and career goals. Our seven degree programs motivate students to gain the skills necessary for advancement in cultural resource management (CRM), museum administration, and/or academic research. Our degree programs are modular, allowing students to tailor their educational experience closely to their needs and goals.

The Data Analytics Certificate prepares students to construct, manage, analyze, and report on data produced in cultural resource management, environmental consulting, or academic contexts.

The certificate is designed so that practicing professionals can take classes while currently on the job without necessarily relocating to USU campus. The certificate helps students build practical skills in programing and data analysis that they can apply in their current and future positions.

What You Will Learn

The Graduate Certificate in Archaeological Data Analytics is designed to prepare both fully matriculated graduate students as well as current professionals in the field wishing to enhance their portfolios to understand and implement data analytics within the context of cultural resource management activities.
