About This Certificate
The Environmental Equity Post-Bachelor’s Certificate will provide rigorous social science training and education in environmental and natural resources equity and inequality. The target of this program is two fold:
1) current graduate students at USU and
2) professionals engaged in human or social dimensions of environment or natural resources work.
Upon successful completion of this certificate, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the social, human, and other drivers and consequences of environmental issues.
- Apply diverse perspectives, solutions, and methods to understand and address social-environmental issues.
- Explain the importance of approaches to addressing environmental issues that incorporate equity and justice.
