A Panel on Career Readiness Curriculum Development

Abstract
The College of Arts & Sciences, in collaboration with ETE, is running a summer-long Career Readiness Bootcamp, aimed at helping departments align their curriculum to career readiness outcomes. This panel will include examples of how programs across our college took on this challenge, what sorts of lessons they learned, and what materials they produced. The hope is to share experiences, tips, and assessment and curriculum development tools with others who are exploring career readiness programs in their departments.

Julia Gossard is Associate Dean for Faculty Success in the College of Arts & Sciences and Professor of History.
Jason Twede
Associate Professor & Editor-in-Chief
Jason is an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice. Prior to working in academia, he was a prosecutor in Navajo County, Arizona. He is also the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal on Empowering Teaching Excellence.
Joshua Legate
Graduate Program Head/Assistant Professor of Design
Joshua Legate is the Graduate Program Director for Utah State University's Department of Theatre Arts, where he specializes in Lighting and Video Design. With an MA in Theory and Criticism from SUNY Binghamton and an MFA in Design and Technology from the University of Washington, Joshua joined Utah State's faculty in 2021 after having previously instructed at Colorado State University and Central Washington University. This is Joshua's first year participating with ETE.
