Buck Ehler

Biography

Buck is the GIS Manager for the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources within the Utah Department of Natural Resources, where he leads a team applying spatial data science for wildlife conservation and natural resource management. A USU graduate in Geography, GIS, and Geology, Buck has built his career in Utah's public lands sector — previously serving with the Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands and the Utah Geological Survey, where he received the DNR Manager of the Year award. His expertise spans web mapping, cartography, surveying, drone mapping and applied GIS for natural resources.
