Utah State University’s inaugural Employee Appreciation Day will take place Friday, September 29, 2023, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Maverik Stadium in Logan!
All USU employees (full and part time) are invited to a day of fun and recognition. And free food!
About Employee Appreciation Day:
Employee Appreciation Day is coordinated by the Office of Human Resources with support and sponsorship from several internal and external partners. The goal of this day is to celebrate all faculty and staff by providing some food, fun, and formal recognition for all you do for USU and our students.
This event will include free lunch served by the USU Executive Committee, and activities such as a football field goal kick, flu shot clinic, tours of Athletic venues, live music, exhibitors, and more!
Employees must bring their USU ID card in order to access the event.
USU Employee Appreciation Day would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors!
Logan Campus Activities:
- Free pizza, drinks, and Aggie Ice Cream!
- Flu Shot Clinic
- Swag and prizes
- Flashbacc the Band: this cover band will have you groovin' to the classic rock sounds
- Photo Backgrounds: take commemorative photos with your friends and colleagues against USU backdrops, post pics on social media
- Temporary Tattoos: rock your USU spirit with a nonpermanent tattoo
- Tours of stadium venues
- Exhibitors
- Field activities, including:
- Football field goal kick: imagine yourself as your favorite USU player and see if you can score a field goal
- Challenge your friends to a game of corn hole, ladder ball or Kubb
- Putting with the USU Police: see if you can score a hole-in-one using a large golf putter

Transportation and Parking
Parking will be free at the Stadium. The Aggie Shuttle has several stops near Maverik Stadium to make getting there easy. Check the map of the Aggie Shuttle routes for pick-up/drop-off locations.

Who is allowed to attend USU Employee Appreciation Day?
All faculty and staff (including student employees) are invited to attend!
What do I need to bring with me to the event?
All employees will need to ensure they bring their USU ID in order to gain access to the event - it will be scanned before you can enter. If you are planning to get a flu shot at the clinic, also bring your insurance card.
How do I enter the event if ADA access is required?
You may enter on the west side of the stadium and take the elevator up, or you may enter directly on the south side of the stadium.
