NDL is hosted in the Department of Physics and is located in the Science Engineering Research (SER) building. It is a user facility to support all researchers on and off campus. The mission of NDL is to provide knowledge and instrumentation support for research involving nanoscale science and technology at USU. Specifically, NDL is designed to supportMicroscale devices have facilitated modern life from comutation, communication, to sensing.  NDL is the only facility at USU that provides micro- to nanoscale fabrication and characterization capability to

•   fabricate prototype devices;
•   perform advanced microscopy;
•   integrate physics, chemistry, and biology with engineering;
•   provide research training and outreach demonstrations.
