Sculpture Exchange Program Purchase with the University of Suwon, South Korea, NEHMA

Harmony-10 is installed on the ground floor of the Taggart Student Center. The University acquired this marble sculpture by participating in a sculpture exchange program. Created by Hee Kyung Kim, a sculpture professor at the University of Suwon in South Korea, Harmony-10 is a large abstract piece referencing Asian Zen gardens. Its soft angles and organic curves exude a sense of tranquility and serenity. It is also appropriately placed beneath the USU Honor Pledge, which also portrays a message of inner peace and balance.
