Ben Willard, a master's student in Space Systems Engineering at USU, graduated in spring 2023 with a Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering degree and a minor in Electrical Engineering. Leading the ADCS subteam, he designed a custom 3-axis magnetorquer ADCS software for the GASRATS CubeSat, integrating it seamlessly with Command & Data Handling and Electrical subsystems. Proficient in MATLAB and STK, he validated designs through high-fidelity attitude simulations. Ben aspires to specialize in guidance and navigation control systems for small satellites and rockets upon his master's graduation
