Jessica Hansen - January 2021

We are pleased to announce that Jessica Hansen has been selected as the January 2021 Employee of the Month. Jessica is a long-time employee at USU serving in several capacities, most recently as Academic Scheduling Manager. In her nomination letter, John Mortensen, Assistant Vice President for Academic and Instructional Services, lauded her excellent customer service and professionalism.

In particular John shared the work Jessica did to make rapid adjustments that facilitated continued instruction during COVID. This included working to adjust classroom capacities to meet social-distancing requirements, scheduling room space to allow additional cleaning, setting assign classroom space for web broadcasting classes, coordinating classroom space for individual use to participate in remote learning and study, and so much more!

In John's words, "Even with all of the changes and extra hours, Jessica was always pleasant to work with and took things in stride." Thank you Jessica for your devoted service and congratulations on a recognition well deserved!
