Covid Leave Continues for 2022

Effective January 1, 2022, USU employees are eligible for up to 80 hours for benefitted employees and up to 40 hours for non-benefitted employees of USU COVID-19 paid leave. For benefitted employees, any time needed beyond 80 hours may be paid with accrued sick leave, comp time (for non-exempt employees) and annual leave. Medicare Advantage Plans

We are pleased to announce, in partnership with Regence, USU now offers a choice of two Regence Medicare Retiree Group plans. Those eligible are former USU employees as well as Medicare-eligible spouses or dependents of a USU employee.

The two plans offered are the USU Regence MedAdvantage + Rx Classic (PPO) with comprehensive dental ($45 per month) or the USU Regence MedAdvantage + Rx Primary (PPO) ($0 per month). Participants must be enrolled in Medicare Parts A and B.

Health and Wellness Expo Coming January 24-28

USU’s Health and Wellness Expo has been bringing students, faculty, and staff together for more than 10 years in order to connect individuals to resources and services that prioritize well-being. The 2022 five-day event held from January 24-28 will feature virtual and in-person activities with daily giveaways available to all members of the USU community, regardless of location. You’ll be able to Prioritize your Wellness Anytime, Anywhere with our variety of speakers, resources and fitness classes available throughout the week. There is no cost to attend. Be Well Program

Happy New Year Utah State! The Be Well Program is excited and ready to help you make and keep your health and wellness resolutions and goals! There are so many ways you can participate – join a fitness class, visit the newly updated Employee Wellness Center, meet with a Personal Trainer or Registered Dietitian, participate in a fitness assessment and many more! New Registered Dietitian Joins Wellness Team

The Be Well Program is pleased to introduce USU's new Registered Dietitian, Brooke Lister. Brooke wants to help others improve their relationship with food and their body so they can be present for what matters most in life. Brooke is available to help you with nutrition workshops, nutrition counseling to assess dietary needs, establishing nutrition goals, learning how to best fuel your body, or answering your nutrition and dietary questions.
