Ida Walters is the SEA Employee of the Month for January!

Ida is now a Spanish teacher in the Edith Bowen Laboratory School but was nominated for her work in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Ida is a vital team player. She consistently excels beyond expectations of her role. Ida was the department’s front-line office assistant. She is professional, approachable, and friendly. All of the other departmental assistants are familiar with her work and she quickly became an important resource for them, and they valued her perspectives, tricks, and knowledge about how to conduct day-to-day department business. Her communication skills are top-notch, and she has an innate ability to know the best mode of communication, whether it is in person, on the phone, or via email.
