Lisa C Poulsen - March 2023

Lisa C. Poulsen has been named the March 2023 SEA Employee of the Month! She serves as the Staff Assistant for the College of Science and was nominated by Dr. Michelle A. Baker, Dean of the College of Science.

Dean Baker noted that she "consistently excels beyond expectations." She was particularly commended for her ability to know the best way to communicate depending on the needs of the person--phone, email, or face-to-face--a special skill in today's world of so many communication avenues.

Lisa's ability to organize and support the execution of the many different functions of the Dean's Office, including their premier outreach program, Science Unrapped, have helped to take that program to a new level. This includes streamlining the back-end organization so staff know exactly what to do and are able to run and enjoy the monthly events!

She ensures that the onboarding process runs smoothly by arranging keys and equipment, and has been instrumental in helping visitors find their way in the Eccles Science Learning Center and Widtsoe Hall by providing directional signage.

In short, Lisa consistently "goes above and beyond" in support of the College. Congratulations to Lisa on this well-deserved recognition and thank you for your service!
