Melissa Walker - April 2025

Melissa Walker, an Academic Advisor with the Huntsman School of Business, is the April 2025 Employee of the Month.

Melissa has done an exceptional job of being a champion for our students, always keeping their well-being at the forefront of her mind. Melissa uses her previous experience in education to create new and more interactive ways for us to connect with our students. Melissa has gone the extra mile on numerous occasions. She is humble and always eager to learn something new and confident in a way that empowers the rest of us to move forward and make ourselves better, even when it means changing things from the way they’ve traditionally been done. Melissa is a joyful, encouraging, and genuine person to work with. She is true to herself and what she believes and is respectful and kind to all those around her. She is quick to volunteer to help and completes her work with integrity and honesty. She is an outstanding team member and leader for our office and deserves to be recognized for all the outstanding work she has done for the students, for our department, and for our school.
