Angie Clayson, June 2024 Employee of the Month
Angie makes a vital contribution toward achieving the goals of the Office of Human Resources and the entire university. Angie’s work impacts all employees at USU. She has worked on projects such as the Aggies Thrive program, which focuses on the mental health of USU employees. As part of the program, Angie initiated World Mental Health Day, which includes a 5K, keynote speakers, and other mental health-related activities and resources.
Angie is extremely knowledgeable about employee benefits and is consistently looking for ways to improve the customer experience by looking at processes through their eyes. She oversaw the implementation of a new employee benefit enrollment process in ServiceNow and is working to implement a life event benefit change process.
As the ADA coordinator, she serves as the point of contact for ADA-related questions for employees and candidates. Much of Angie’s day is spent working with employees with disabilities who have requested an ADA accommodation. She is extremely thorough in her research and works tirelessly for the employees.
Congratulations to Angie!
