Wake Harper - January 2026

Wake was nominated for making a tremendous difference during fall 2025 semester for QANR
during a period when they were short-staffed. He volunteered and took on the responsibilities
of two advisors for several months, meeting with 12-13 students each day. He was hailed for
consistently delivering high-quality work, showing commitment to students and the college,
streamlining processes, solving problems, and improving the student experience. Wake is known
by his colleagues for being easygoing, approachable, helpful, friendly, professional, and being
genuinely enjoyable to work with. Of special note, Wake was praised for never hesitating to help
others and for truly caring about QANR students and the community. His supervisor said, "Even
on hard days, Wake brings positivity, patience, and a steady sense of optimism."
