As a computer Systems Analyst in Teaching and Learning Technologies, Ludo is the one of the magicians behind the scenes of Utah State Universities online courses and the Canvas LMS. While few students and faculty know his name, they use more than 40 software tools he has developed, 3 of which have been licensed by an Ed Tech company.

 

Ludo took the initiative to explore AI and how it could be used to support faculty and students. His ideas are forward thinking, and the desire to build cool things and experiment have put Utah State University on the cutting edge of teaching and learning innovation.

 

Ludo is easily one of the top 5 experts on the Canvas API in the country. His work is supporting faculty and students across the Utah State system. Over the past two years, Ludo has been mentoring a new staff member, sharing technical expertise, best practices, and the USU way. He is sought out by his team members for insights and technical knowledge and will drop everything to help a colleague and anyone who calls on him. He is a model employee and colleague at Utah State University.
