Tyler Hancey December 2018

Tyler Hancey, HVAC Tech with Facilities, was awarded the honor of being named the Employee of the Month by the Staff Employee Association at USU for December 2018.

Colleagues, supervisors, and customers alike expressed great admiration for Tyler's work ethic, creativity and innovation, all while balancing work and school:

"He has earned the respect of his peers even though most of his coworkers have vastly more experience than he does, and his dedication to customer service and satisfaction are apparent to everyone he works with. He has proven to be an exceptional leader coordinating multidisciplinary teams to solve complex problems and provide minimal impact to University operations."

"He is extremely competent and knows how to get things done. No challenge is too hard for him to tackle... He is courteous, reliable, and always follows through."

"He is such a pleasure to deal with because of his positive 'can do' attitude. However, what is even better is that I know when I give him a task to do -- it will be taken care of and I do not need to follow up or question anything."
